WHERE TO BEGIN?

I've been listening to National Public Radio for years I even did radio shows at stations that were NPR affiliates in my younger days in college and beyond. Yes, I'm a registered Democrat but, I'm also recovering Liberal (it's a 12 step process). I have not been on the air in years but, still listen to a lot of radio. One of the stations I listen to is an NPR station near me during the day which has mostly a classical music format. But, I find myself either turning it off or getting pissed off when some of the NPR "news" programs come on like ALL THINGS CONSIDERED etc... The fact that the station carries these NPR programs has often prevented me from donating money. I don't want to support NPR anymore than I have too. When I do listen to the NPR programs the politically correct bias of the NPR mentality comes through loud and clear. Especially, I've  notice on stories that deal with the illegal immigration problem in the United States. It's so easy to hear how the reporters and editors have been co-opted by the liberal and open borders crowd on the issue to down play or not cover the serious consequences of the failure of our Federal Government to enforce immigration laws.  Especially when they use words like "undocumented workers", "migrant workers" etc... instead of the proper term which is illegal alien. The firing of liberal leaning Juan Williams for expressing his feelings and concerns following the terrorist attack on the Was the final straw for me and why I started this blog. NPR has no shortage of stories or commentators expressing their "feelings". The trouble for Williams his "feelings" did not fit in the tight Liberal confines of the NPR dogma. So they fired his ass. Perhaps they are not so "liberal" after all. So there it is. I'm not sure how much I'll be posting here but, when I hear something on NPR that raises my eyebrow at least I'll have a place to point it out and rant. Now back to my regularly scheduled life.
