NPR EMPLOYEE SHILLS FOR OCCUPY DC GROUP

Once again when you shake the NPR building and the leftist come falling out. Here is the latest NPR outrage:

"National Public Radio host Lisa Simeone appears to be breaking the taxpayer-subsidized network’s ethics rules by acting as a spokeswoman for Occupy D.C. group “October 2011,” which is currently “occupying” Freedom Plaza in Washington, D.C."

"It’s unclear if NPR or WAMU granted Simeone an “exception” from its ethics policy to participate in, and advocate for, the Occupy protests. If neither entity did grant her an exception, it’s unclear what, if anything, NPR and WAMU plan to do about her ethics violation."

Well, it's pretty clear what outraged listeners should do and that is not donate any more of their hard earned money to an organization like NPR and WAMU that would allow someone to represent an anarchist inspired organization like Occupy DC and Occupy Wall Street while on their payroll.

AND THE PROBLEM IS?

Leave it to NPR to make it appear that it is a problem that illegal immigrants leave an area when things get too hot for them. They are here illegally and they should be looking over their shoulders because they have broken the law.  But, NPR reporter Debra Elliot makes it sound like there is a problem when illegal immigrants take their children out of schools because of Alabama's  new get tough policy on illegal immigrants. There is no upside for the liberal bias of the NPR news report. Here are some of the money quotes:

"ELLIOTT: Since a federal judge left intact much of Alabama's immigration crackdown, 25 Hispanic students have withdrawn, another 40 plan to by the end of the week, and dozens of others have been absent. That's nearly a third of the south Alabama school's population of students for whom English is a second language."

At ten thousand bucks per student the school district and local taxpayers will be saving quite a bit over the years if they no longer have to pay the costs of educating the children of illegal immigrants. Of course no mention of this in Elliot's report.

Then there is Jose Hernadez whom Elliot interviewed. An illegal immigrant who is also working in this country illegally but, NPR ignores that. He's not only been working but, also fornicating here too as he has five count em five children. Again at ten thousand dollars a year per student guess who's paying to educate them? Again the taxpayers would be saving at fifty grand a year if Henandez leaves the area and that's just one illegal. Multipy that out by the others and real money is being saved.

Finally Elliot can't even see the benefits of having the illegals leave the area:

"ELLIOTT: Foley is a small town in Baldwin County in south Alabama. The county has one of fastest growing Hispanic populations in the state - up more than 200 percent from 2000 to 2010, according to the U.S. Census. Immigrants come here to work on farms, in seafood processing and in the tourism industry. But as they flee, the question is who will fill those jobs? "

Hmmm, perhaps some Americans who can't find jobs? Of  course wages may have to rise. That's a good thing too! Or how about the other 99% Occupy Wall Street crowd. They are bitching they can't find work tell them to get their sorry asses down to Alabama! Of course there is one downside of illegals leaving Alabama they will be moving to other states and become a problem for those taxpayers.

NPR: SO SOROS!

Seems many of the executives at NPR are tone deaf or should I say tone left. As they don't see anything wrong about accepting money from George Soros and still maintaining their neutrality in reporting. Yeah right! This is more like it:

"NPR took $1.8 million from a man who also spent $27 million trying desperately to unseat President George W. Bush in 2004, yet NPR still claims to be neutral," said Dan Gainor of the conservative Media Research Center. "Conservatives know that isn't true. The Soros money just proved it. Will NPR deploy some of that new-found wealth to investigate Soros' global empire? No, he signs the checks."

NPR FINDS HUMOR IN DEATH THREATS

At least when those death threats are directed at conservative targets. Michelle Malkin who has had here share of death threats over the years has the money quotes:

"Well, government-sponsored National Public Radio — erstwhile guardians of civility — apparently found the death-threat misdirection amusing. A segment last Friday on NPR’s Morning Edition made light of the plight of Iowa businessman Dutch Koch — no relation to libertarian businessmen Charles and David Koch.

Philip Ellender, President, Government & Public Affairs, at Koch Companies Public Sector, LLC, called the NPR hypocrites out:
"I am writing to raise deep concerns about a Morning Edition segment that aired on April 22 and apparently made light of death threats that had been leveled at gentleman in Iowa but that had been intended for our company.
The item was read by hosts Mary Louise Kelly and Renee Montagne, billed as “our last word in business,” and was clearly framed as an amusing take on the news. Kelly and Montagne made sport of the fact that a Mr. Dutch Koch shares the same surname as that of our company, even musing that he’s also been “confused with the big soda maker” – Coca-Cola, it seems. Kelly quipped that “he does not say which cola he prefers” before cutting away to what sounds like bongo drum music.
But there is nothing even remotely funny about a person’s life being threatened and NPR ought to be ashamed that simple fact of decency has to be pointed out. Here, for example, are three recent stories that NPR has aired about how disturbing and profoundly wrong it is when death threats are made – no matter what motivates them. It is the most depraved, lowest form of discourse and it is also a crime. "

NPR HUNTING FOX & BAIER?

On Thursday night's All Things Considered, NPR media reporter David Folkenflik profiled Bret Baier of the Fox News Channel. Tim Graham at Newsbusters has the money quotes on Folkenflix expose':

"Folkenflik said the night he was allowed in to observe, the panel was Stephen Hayes of "the conservative Weekly Standard," plus "a conservative who's a former senior aide to President George W. Bush, and a political reporter for the Washington Post. I asked Baier how that lineup reflected the fairness that he promises." The Post is a "non-ideological news outlet"? See the arrogance of media liberals on display. Fox is a right-wing propaganda house, but NPR and The Washington Post are meticulously "non-ideological."

I wonder if Folkenflik every looked at six months of Rachel Maddows guests? I suspect they Baier would win the "fair and balanced" contest there. But, Graham also points out something Folkenflix failed to mention in his report:

"Notice how in his complaint that Fox is casting reporters as "surrogate liberals,"  Folkenflik never suggested in this piece that one of the Baier regulars is NPR's own Mara Liasson -- perhaps because NPR's liberal listener base hates NPR people "dignifying" Fox with their liberal presence."

A very strange ommission indeed.

NPR, GEORGE SOROS AND THE OPEN SOCIETY

Well, it's seems George Soros and his "OPEN SOCIETY" organization are not so open when it comes to their donations to NPR. As enterprising journalist James O'Keefe shows in this report:

So who else do the people on the NPR  Board of Directors give money to. Well there is no surprise there!
