ALL THINGS NOT CONSIDERED: OCCUPY TERRORISM

I guess it should not surprise us that the NPR program ALL THINGS CONSIDERED did not even mention once the five anarchist with the Occupy Cleveland movement were arrested by the FBI today while attempting to get explosives to blow up a bridge in Cleveland. You need to go to other news sources for that story:

"A mohawk-wearing anarchist nicknamed "Cyco" was among five men arrested after allegedly conspiring to blow up a bridge about 15 miles south of Cleveland, according to court documents released Tuesday.
Douglas L. Wright, 26, joined alleged co-conspirators Brandon L. Baxter, 20, a.k.a. "Skabby," and Anthony Hayne, 37, a.k.a. "Tony" and "Billy," in a plot authorities say homed in on the Brecksville-Northfield High Level Bridge, which spans the Cuyahoga Valley National Park and carries a four-lane highway." -Daily Caller

NPR's lack of coverage  is also not surprising since workers at NPR stations have been know to be shills for the anarchist Occupy Wall Street movement.  This just another example of the leftist bias that pervades National Public Radio these days. Domestic terrorism is not worthy for broadcast if it puts the anarchists of the Occupy Wall Street movement in a bad light. They just ignore the story and hope no one notices their blackout of the story. Just another reason why NPR sucks!

NPR's COMMON CAUSE CONNECTIONS

Sometimes it's not what NPR tells it's listeners. It's what it does not tell them. Here is the latest ethical outrage:

"For its efforts, ALEC has recently come under a coordinated assault by many leftist organizations, especially Common Cause and 9-11 truther Van Jones' Color of Change. NPR's report purportedly raised "questions" over ALEC's tax status and quoted extensively from Common Cause. What listeners didn't learn, however, was that NPR's reporter, Peter Overby formerly worked for Common Cause."

"NPR's report also relied extensively on the opinion of Marcus Owens, a tax attorney at the firm Caplain & Drysdale. Left out of NPR's report, however, was the fact that Owens' firm recently represented Common Cause in litigation against the IRS. Of course, NPR treats Owens as a disinterested expert on non-profit tax law, raising "questions" which Common Cause can then echo later in the story. NPR's listeners might have benefited from the knowledge that there was a business interest between Owens' firm and Common Cause."  -BIG JOURNALISM

OBAMA'S A NO JOKE ZONE AT NPR!

"Today's edition of National Public Radio's weekly On the Media show featured a segment on recycled advertising slogans, which closed by spoofing the Republican presidential candidates--but declining to spoof President Barack Obama."- BIG JOURNALISM

SEX AND DRUGS AND THE CLUELESSNESS OF NPR

NPR's afternoon show ALL THINGS CONSIDERED aired a report the other day by Carrie Johnson about human trafficking here in the U.S. here is one of the money quotes:

"The MS-13 gang got its start among immigrants from El Salvador in the 1980s. Since then, the gang has built operations in 42 states, mostly out West and in the Northeastern United States, where members typically deal in drugs and weapons. "

Of course true to the liberal bias that pervades NPR's news programs there was no mention of illegal immigration and how it is at the core of this problem here in the United States. The report completely ignores how enforcement of immigration laws would also address the problem of human trafficking at the same time.
Of course there is no mention of the Federal Governments failure in that regard either. Just another example of the clueless and/or biased reporting of National Public Radio. Just another reason why NPR sucks!

NPR EMPLOYEE SHILLS FOR OCCUPY DC GROUP

Once again when you shake the NPR building and the leftist come falling out. Here is the latest NPR outrage:

"National Public Radio host Lisa Simeone appears to be breaking the taxpayer-subsidized network’s ethics rules by acting as a spokeswoman for Occupy D.C. group “October 2011,” which is currently “occupying” Freedom Plaza in Washington, D.C."

"It’s unclear if NPR or WAMU granted Simeone an “exception” from its ethics policy to participate in, and advocate for, the Occupy protests. If neither entity did grant her an exception, it’s unclear what, if anything, NPR and WAMU plan to do about her ethics violation."

Well, it's pretty clear what outraged listeners should do and that is not donate any more of their hard earned money to an organization like NPR and WAMU that would allow someone to represent an anarchist inspired organization like Occupy DC and Occupy Wall Street while on their payroll.

AND THE PROBLEM IS?

Leave it to NPR to make it appear that it is a problem that illegal immigrants leave an area when things get too hot for them. They are here illegally and they should be looking over their shoulders because they have broken the law.  But, NPR reporter Debra Elliot makes it sound like there is a problem when illegal immigrants take their children out of schools because of Alabama's  new get tough policy on illegal immigrants. There is no upside for the liberal bias of the NPR news report. Here are some of the money quotes:

"ELLIOTT: Since a federal judge left intact much of Alabama's immigration crackdown, 25 Hispanic students have withdrawn, another 40 plan to by the end of the week, and dozens of others have been absent. That's nearly a third of the south Alabama school's population of students for whom English is a second language."

At ten thousand bucks per student the school district and local taxpayers will be saving quite a bit over the years if they no longer have to pay the costs of educating the children of illegal immigrants. Of course no mention of this in Elliot's report.

Then there is Jose Hernadez whom Elliot interviewed. An illegal immigrant who is also working in this country illegally but, NPR ignores that. He's not only been working but, also fornicating here too as he has five count em five children. Again at ten thousand dollars a year per student guess who's paying to educate them? Again the taxpayers would be saving at fifty grand a year if Henandez leaves the area and that's just one illegal. Multipy that out by the others and real money is being saved.

Finally Elliot can't even see the benefits of having the illegals leave the area:

"ELLIOTT: Foley is a small town in Baldwin County in south Alabama. The county has one of fastest growing Hispanic populations in the state - up more than 200 percent from 2000 to 2010, according to the U.S. Census. Immigrants come here to work on farms, in seafood processing and in the tourism industry. But as they flee, the question is who will fill those jobs? "

Hmmm, perhaps some Americans who can't find jobs? Of  course wages may have to rise. That's a good thing too! Or how about the other 99% Occupy Wall Street crowd. They are bitching they can't find work tell them to get their sorry asses down to Alabama! Of course there is one downside of illegals leaving Alabama they will be moving to other states and become a problem for those taxpayers.

NPR: SO SOROS!

Seems many of the executives at NPR are tone deaf or should I say tone left. As they don't see anything wrong about accepting money from George Soros and still maintaining their neutrality in reporting. Yeah right! This is more like it:

"NPR took $1.8 million from a man who also spent $27 million trying desperately to unseat President George W. Bush in 2004, yet NPR still claims to be neutral," said Dan Gainor of the conservative Media Research Center. "Conservatives know that isn't true. The Soros money just proved it. Will NPR deploy some of that new-found wealth to investigate Soros' global empire? No, he signs the checks."
