DEBATE ON ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION? WHAT DEBATE ON ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION?
Once again the deep liberal bias of those working at NPR shows up in the reporting of NPR. :
"NPR's David Welna stacked his Thursday report on Morning Edition full of liberal politicians and activists who support granting citizenship to illegal immigrants. Welna aired sound bites from a representative of the left-wing SEIU, three Democratic politicians, and a woman who has illegal immigrant family members. He only included one clip from a Republican – Senator John McCain, who has long been a supporter of "comprehensive" immigration reform.
The correspondent also spent much of the segment spotlighting a recent Capitol Hill demonstration in favor of a so-called path to citizenship, where many of his liberal talking heads spoke."

The bias exhibited by NPR in reporting on stories like illegal immigration are why I no longer give money to my local NPR station.

NPR'S WAR ON WOMEN. CONSERVATIVE WOMEN THAT IS.
"In this morning's hourly news update, National Public Radio (NPR) attempted to tarnish the late British prime minister Margaret Thatcher as a racist by suggesting that she supported apartheid in South Africa. Though Thatcher opposed sanctions against South Africa, and characterized the anti-apartheid African National Congress as a terrorist organization--which it was--she remained firmly opposed to the policy of apartheid.
NPR showed no interest in the facts of Thatcher's record on apartheid, turning instead to an ANC source, Pallo Jordan, to attack Thatcher. Jordan was "the ANC's chief propagandist in exile" when the organization was backed by the Soviet Union--a brutal regime responsible for the deaths of millions, and whose support for the ANC's military campaign may have set back the cause of the anti-apartheid struggle for at least a decade." - MORE HERE
